36 hours of joy :)

I’m thankful I reached all my train(s),
though en route my thighs felt pain

I’m thankful my friend did, too,
so I greeted her at the platform, juchu

I’m thankful for our luxurious hotel
and the relaxation/ sauna area that did me so well

I’m thankful we enjoyed a dry guided tour
though the weather forecast said it would pour

I’m thankful we chatted until late at night
this friendship just always feels right

I’m thankful for the successful shopping spree
which additionally thawed our feet

I’m thankful for the woolen socks with owls in my size
and the friendly banter with the sales lady and guys

I’m thankful the lights shone magically
and for the mulled wine and the huge Christmas tree

I’m thankful we shared our love for Disney songs
and happily hummed and sang along

I’m thankful we took this precious time
but I’m afraid we forgot to drink the rest of the wine! 😉
