The bad happy housewife
She has let the fridge go empty
but for milk for coffee half bad
She has not done any chores in two days
nor shaved her legs for same
she has survived on leftovers
and the deli counter
she has not cared about the trash
but has had an eve with friends, a laugh
she has then cuddled her love awake at night
and made his morning extra bright
she has put some hours in at her desk
and now, shopping (for fun and girl time) is next.
